 Information Update

Some time ago, we changed our name from American Ex-Prisoners of War Service Foundation, to the Military Ex-Prisoners of War Foundation, which enables us to serve any Military Ex-Prisoners of War, regardless what Veterans Organization he or she may belong to, if any. We are also expanding our National circulation, and publishing the “TIMES” four times a year.

We are also pleased to report that our “Military Ex-Prisoners of War Scholarship Program” has been very successful this year, and hopes to hope to increase it each year. We will keep you informed on this website: www.pownews.com

Beginning with our next issue: We are planning to introduce some new some new Sections:

   “What’s Happening at Our VA?”
We are asking several VA Centers around our country to share their News Releases with the Foundation Times, and/or any other good news or pictures of or about theirr facility because we, and our readers are strong advocates of the Veterans Administration.

“The Flame Keepers” (For Young American Students)  In our next issue we hope to introduce something that is long overdue; An All American Patriotic History Section for Students from Middle School and up. This will also be backed up with a special Section on our Website.

  “Interviews With Combat Veterans.”
For 25 years, or more, our Veterans have been speaking at Schools, Colleges, Military and Civil Organizations all over our Country. Now we want to help our younger Veterans in any way we can, including the ones who want us to help them tell their stories. We are at their service.

    “Our Most Important Service”
The most important reason why this Foundation was founded was, is, and always will be to fund the expenses of, traveling, and training for over 100 National Service Officers, all Volunteers from all over the U.S.A. They are the ones who represent our veterans in filing claims for deserving service connected disabilities, other health care problems, and much more.

Our Foundation is supported by tax-free Donations, only.    Editor: Roy E. Livingstone – rliving3@tampabay.rr.com
